Five miles away is the Cherry Grove Fishing Pier, the perfect spot to cast some fishing lines with your family or kids. Exciting adventures await at Shark Wake Park, the biggest aqua park in North Myrtle Beach and you can find it only six miles away. Free Attraction Ticket Program - All Oceana Resorts guests are provided with a package of tickets from local partners. The program provides one free ticket from up to 3 partners per reservation. Additional tickets are available to purchase when the free tickets are redeemed. Details are updated seasonally on property specific websites.

Children’s Activities - This program is available at Carolinian Beach Resort, Patricia Grand, and Bay Watch each summer from mid-June through mid-August. Activities include shark tooth hunts, crafts, pool games, and more!

Snowbird Activities - This program is available at Carolinian Beach Resort, Patricia Grand, and Bay Watch each winter from early January through mid-March. These activities build on the snowbird community we have each winter. Activities include card games, crafts, bingo, field trips, Waffle Wednesday meet-n-greets, and more! Additionally there is an annual Wine & Cheese reception with give-aways at both Patricia Grand and Bay Watch in mid-February.

DVD Rentals - Each property is equipped with one or more rental boxes. Guests enjoy free blockbuster rentals during their stay.

Bay Watch has 18 bodies of water including indoor and outdoor lazy rivers. Sandtrap Sports Bar is a guest favorite, open daily. Fishtails is a seasonal pool bar featuring fun cocktails and live entertainment during the warmest seasons. There is also a gift shop selling trinkets and forgotten items to make your trip complete.

Condo was clean with exception of couch which needed a deep clean and we appreciated that overall. Resort offers more than we expected but also had some annoyances. Got charged additional 15% by on-site restaurant for my pizza to be to go, paid 3.00 to have my pizza put in a pizza box? Just greedy wouldn’t allow a later check out of 11 instead of 10 no luggage racks available when we wanted to leave. All were left on various floors by guests checking in the night before. Rude on their part but resort needs to round these up overnite

HANDI-UNCAPABLE
The parking is horrible. If you are lucky enough to get a handicap parking spot, don't leave it as you will have to walk about a 1/2 mile from the property if you are in Tower 1. There should be more handicap accessible parking based on the time of year. I understand that they need to have unloading/loading area but at this time of year they do not need to have 3/4 of the lot for that and can add additional handicap parking in Tower 1. We would look for other properties that have parking close. We will pick a property with parking guaranteed outside the house. Our friends had a property and their walk to the beach was closer than our parking.

Perfect weekend!
Quick getaway to the beach. Booked the lowest beachfront property I could find. Very spacious condo, with a balcony overlooking the beach- made for perfect sunrises!

Great place to stay if you like water!
Loved all the pools, lazy rivers, and hot tubs. Loved the 3 beach accesses with different washing stations. Loved our room. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. Loved that security was present to make sure everyone enjoyed their stay, and all of them were so nice and polite, even when enforcing the rules.

Not as it seems
The whole facility felt hot and had an unbearable smell of chlorine. We were unable to walk bare foot in the room due to carpet conditions. The pull down bedding was dirty. The only thing we could appreciate is the balcony/view. Needless to say we checked out the night before due to the circumstances. I hope this review helps.

Great Stay
I only gave it 4 stars because the room should have been ready for 4pm. We were not able to get into until 6pm due to it not being cleaned. The pools were awesome and kept clean. The staff was super nice and the grounds well maintained. The beach is just beyond the pools. Fantastic time

This was a Great! Bday/vacation getaway for the Lionesses. From start to the bitter end! Checking in with Alex made it easy. He reconfirmed, I reserved Tower 1 w/ocean view and called a Bellman to assist us to our room. I was so excited!! Very glad I did not read the negative reviews. The room was clean and very cold upon entering. no issue, there was an in room temperature adjustment. The ocean view was paradise in itself with our own private balcony. large living room with Murphy Bed in the wall. Full kitchen was impressive w/amenities'. The bathroom was luxury w/a jacuzzi bath and shower combo. P. H. confirmed that the jacuzzi was a good treat!. The bedroom was perfect, it fitted two Queen size beds very comfortably with room to store luggage. After easy access to the beach every morning was a great way to start the day. LaShai, Front Desk Agent helped w/outing recommendations. LaShai - Thanks!! C & G Bakery & Eatery, Chicken Broil meal was delicious and the best Chocolate Chip Bday cake I have ever had! Also, the onsite Sports Bar serves up a really good Coconut Shrimp Basket with fresh hot fries that hits the spot when returning later in the evening. Overall it was reasonably priced and I believe it was worth the wonderful getaway.. However, the only drawback was when it was time to check-out, everyone was doing the same which meant there was a shortage of Bellmen and Bellman rolling carts. I would definitely stay here again and pay to checkout an hour later to avoid the crowd.

We have been visiting the Baywatch resort for 20 years, this is the first time through Vacasa. The unit was just Ok, it was not as clean as we would of liked especially during Covid. We usually never complain, but this time our neighbors were smoking cigarettes and marijuana and after the third complaint they were still there.

My husband and I stayed at this place last week with our young children. I have been coming to Myrtle beach for years but this was a first staying at Bay Watch. I highly recommend this resort, the staff was helpful, the resort was clean, the food was good. The walk from our room to the beach was so quick and we were able to walk back and forth between the pool and beach multiple times throughout the day. We found it kind of difficult to view the hours and menus for the on-site restaurants and bars, I’m sure this is due to changes daily with covid and labor shortage. One night they had a live band at the pool bar, this was very cool and would have loved to see it atleast another day while on vacation.
