"My husband and I traveled to Grand Cayman for the first time and Marriott Hotel is a lovely place to enjoy the island vibe. Unfortunately they lost the beach sand during a hurricane but they have prepared a good access to what it is left and honestly we loved this way to go straight to the water and you don’t come back to the hotel with your feet covered with sand. The best part of our stay, “THE STAFF”.They were extraordinary helpful, professional and friendly.It was a memorable stay.Thank you so much."

"This is a beautiful and well cared for property. It is very spacious. All of the rooms are good sized. The property is very clean. The management company was very quick to respond to any questions that I had. If you are looking to take long walks on the beach, this is probably not the best side of the island for that. If you are looking for a quiet place with a private beach, this is a great place to be. The only negative thing I noticed is there is a lot of trash that washes up over the reef that ends up on the beach. I emailed the management company and they sent the gardener over the same day and he raked the beach for us. That made a huge difference. That water is beautiful and there are lots of fish ."

"This house is amazing! Our favorite part was the awesome reef we snorkeled around every day! We could wake up in the morning and walk out onto our private beach and start snorkeling. The snorkel gear and volleyball assessiores were all provided as well. Everything else about the house was amazing too, just wanted to share some different."

2023 Renovated The Retreat 17 Oceanview ground floor condo steps to ocean/beach

Great Trip and location

"We stayed at this property mid January 2025. Everything was as described if not better. The snorkeling was great from the large pier just behind the property around the corner to Rum point. The condo was quiet, clean and plenty of room for four adults in our early fifties. There were several places to eat near by but I would say a rental car is a must. Several other great restaurants are a 15-25 minute drive away. The condo was stocked with everything a group would want, my wife and friend especially enjoyed the inflatable floaties for lounging in the ocean on the beach side of the property. The host Stephanie was very good with communication and answered any of our questions in a timely fashion. I would 100% recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful place in a great location. "
