Last year my wife and I stayed in another property nearby, a renovated small beachfront cottage that had ocean-facing sliding doors in both the living room and bedroom that opened up onto an ocean-facing porch, a full kitchen, and a/c. This year, its price was increased dramatically, so we looked elsewhere for the same set of requirements, and found it in this rental. We were initially concerned about the owner's description of how a dune restoration project has constructed a small low fence between the property and the ocean, and how beach access requires you to walk through a common breezeway in the center of the building, but it was a non-issue—the fence didn't mar the ocean view at all. The condo is huge inside, with fabulous ocean views from everywhere on both floors, two bedrooms and three bathrooms. For the price, you can't beat it. The only properties priced close on Beach Point were the tiny one-room cottages. There were a few minor cleaning issues that could be laid at the feet of prior renters as opposed to the owner or the cleaning crew, nothing that would prevent us from considering renting it again.
