"Traveled with another female, stayed in a Domo with private bathroom. Hotel was 10-15 minute walk into the center of Atacama on dusty roads. Road is fairly dark after sundown, but didn't feel unsafe. The Domo is SUPER cute and had enough room for two people with one suitcase each. The hammock and outdoor patio were a great touch and we spent lots of time relaxing out there. We went to a little grocery store to buy some fruit, bread, and cheese and had a lovely little dinner on the patio as...

"The breakfast was very poor. The owner gave us one egg per person per night and some bread and cheese for self service. After 2 nights when it was over she was fighting back with a bad attitude, unacceptable if you are paying almost 200usd a might. The owner had the same attitude towards everything, the first night there was no internet, instead of trying to solve it the owner was questioning why we would need internet anyway."

"Very hard to find, but once found, the owner was amazing, speaks no English so we communicated via google translator. Room was nice, as seen in pictures, comfortable. Have to have vehicle, not walkable into town. Many dogs on property, bark a lot, especially at night."

"Quite simply the best hotel/accomodation of our entire 3 week trip. The Cabanas were brilliantly finished and modern, the breakfast delivery every morning was great but the star of the show was our private terrace/balcony where we could lay at night and watch the stars. Claudia was also the most accommodating person and went out of her way to ensure we had the best few days in Elqui Valley. 100% Recommend."

"Please note this is not a 5 star stay. It is located in a small village high in the Andes close to Park Lauca and close to the Bolivian border. Parking is available but limited. Check in was simple and easy although English is limited. The hotel is rustic as is Putre. Room was small but clean. Two double beds that were very comfortable. Plenty of blankets for the chilly evenings, even in summer. There is a gas heater that is turned on in the evening. The bathroom was clean and met our needs. Hot...

"We arrived at this hotel's address to find that it was closed. Permanently. Like, property-sold-a-month-before-our-arrival-and-dust-from-the-ongoing-courtyard-demolition-covering-us-and-our-luggage-on-a-busy-holiday-weekend closed. So, yeah: overall experience was poor, staffing was poor, condition of the property was poor, comfort of the room was poor. . ."

"It is not liveable. If local taxi drivers didn’t know the place, if there is no one there, no reception. Owner spoke to my 3rd driver no room on left. I showed him booking. Then he asked me to check the condition before check in , thanks god! This saved my life. Only empty beds there! I left the place and went to downtown found so many hostel there: close to center and price is only half! "
