"The company gave us a lift to the accommodation the first night from their central cafe in Kyoto which was really helpful as if you don't know the area it could be hard to find alone in the evening. The accommodation was very clean and had all the basics you need. It is Japanese style accommodation with futon which suited us well but people not used to this need to check the details. It is a quiet residential area and sound travels between the apartments so not suitable for people who want late...

Ready bath and kitchen amenities, take Exit 6 at Demachiyanagi station and walk towards the main road (shrine rooftops), use the second temple gates. Recommended to use with "Keihan Kyoto-Osaka Day Passes" for subway line transportation directly from Osaka and other major stations on south and east Kyoto."

"The Lund House is a small simplistic hostel in a nice and quiet part of town. It is still easily accessible, however, with the closest bus being line 17 or 206 (Summer 2018). The Lund House is very small and compact, but as long as you have pleasant roommates the place feels like a wonderful home. I would gladly stay here again. And at their listed price you can't beat it!"
