The hotel needs updating - the room was clean and bed comfortable. Staff extremely friendly. Breakfast was poor and the coffee was not good. But a beautiful setting and therefore worth a visit.

The boiler had broken the night before but they hasn't notified anyone. Cold shower in the morning. Thats OK these things happen... Breakfast was overcooked. Not enough staff.

Like you see in a country magazine.
Just a 1 night stop-off after a busy week at Center Parcs ,the Lake District with g/children and stop off to show the lights at Blackpool. A beautiful retreat of a country hotel with tasteful decor. A very spacious room. The likes, looking like you see in a magazine. So nice to have a large built in wardrobe with lighting. Friendly staff and warm rooms.

Room was freezing literally, had a funky smell and I was just surprised at the state of the hotel I genuinely thought it was getting a refurb the floor was horrible, it just wasn’t a warm cosy hotel which I’m use to, I’m sorry to leave the review and hope this is constructive and they take this on
