"Great location. Brilliant room. Really quirky. Not really riverside views as promised instead more car park views. Giving motel vibes! Continental brekkie a bit naff with world's smallest croissants but my partner said full english was good. Excellent customer service and would return. Htrat for parking too as free parking until 3pm on day of departure. "

"We regularly stay here when visiting family. The accommodation is very clean and comfortable, staff are friendly and approachable, children are welcomed and accommodated, the range of food and drinks is good and in the warmer months there is a lovely outside seating/dining area. Very good value for money and we regularly return and would recommend."

"The hotel rooms were absolutely gorgeous. Lovely beds, pillows , bath r9bes. Bathroom spotlessly clean. Plenty if tea and coffee making facilities. Easy sccess and parking. Nice to.have a beautiful restaurant on the doorstep. The staff were polite and efficient. The managers attentive. Couldnt ask for more."

"We enjoyed our stay at The Ship. We stayed in a smaller queen room and it fit our needs for a one-night stay between traveling to and from other destinations. We thought the staff was great and the restaurant was excellent! We had dinner and drinks and wow, it was a fantastic meal. Probably one of the best meals of a 10-day vacation! The breakfast was also really good and was included in our stay. We would stay here again."

" On arrival check in was easy and good, unfortunately not disabled friendly, Staff member Mark helped by carrying our luggage upstairs to the room as husband on crutches, room was at the far end of the corridor and no lift. No disabled parking either. Room clean, but could do with being redecorated. Shower was quite poor and not very powerful and the water was exceptionally hot. Ate in the bar the first night, meal was ordered, on arrival my garlic bread was cold reported it and was told it...

"A very pleasant stay! Lovely large room and the bar and restaurant was great. Comfortable bed and good shower. They even made me food after the kitchen was closed. Only negative was the mini single use plastic shower gels and shampoos. Refillable soap and shampoo dispensers would make it perfect! "

"Great hotel, bar and restaurant with friendly and welcoming staff, and excellent service throughout our stay. Room was clean, well equipped, comfortable and modern. It would have been nice to have had the heating on when we arrived but appreciate that we’d recently had a change in weather. Bar has wide selection of drinks and food is excellent. Views are fantastic on a clear day and outdoor seating is available. Would (and have) happily recommend to friends and family"
