"Historical building which has been heavily invested in to upgrade. Bathroom lovely, lift slow but steady. We loved the history behind the hotel, we did not love the parking which was VERY tight, nor the fire alarm blaring at 11pm, or the amorous couple in the room beside us. We heard every episode! ..."

"Liked hotel, lovely old fashioned atmosphere and spacious rooms. Had to change room due to unacceptable lumpy mattress. New room mattress was better but still needed to be upgraded or replaced. This one issue spoiled what was otherwise an excellent hotel."

But the Pilgrim were amazing accommodating 40/45 people all very last minute, the food was totally amazing bearing in mind there were so many different variables for a three course meal coming ..."
