On arrival there is limited information on where to park and where to check-in. Following my experience, I had to provide assistance to another traveller that was also at a loss.
The room itself is functional. The bathroom has motion sensor lighting, so the door was closed. Subsequently, due to the lack of ventilation, the bathroom was smelly and there were areas that could do with some mould and mildew spray to sort both its appearance and the smell.
The room I had was facing the road, the roundabout actually. The road noise is very apparent and constant till late at night and early in the morning. Subsequently, opening a window for some airflow was a no no. The AC worked fine, although a user guide was no supplied, so this was trail and error. However, the AC did provide some white noise that drowned out the road noise - a bit.
Breakfast was include. However, what they do not mention is that you are provided with a pint of milk, cereal, bread etc. and you have to make this yourself. I have no issue making breakfast, that what I do every day, but advertising this fact would help manage expectations, especially as you could not eat in the pub.
When I checked in, I was informed that I would get a receipt emailed to me. This did not arrive and took 2 emails to be sent before a receipt was finally received.
Would I stay there again - the answer is no. For the price there is better accommodation available, and maybe breakfast is provided?
