"I am completely satisfied with our stay at The Myrtles it was extremely phenomenal!!! The rooms are extremely beautiful. The staff was so accommodating!!! I didn't want to leave. And to reserve a room was really easy. They book up quickly so I suggest if you want to stay there you need to reserve your room at least 1 month in advance. I was extremely shocked when I booked our rooms i got in so quickly it is so worth going there i recommend you guys to go to The Myrtles!!!!!!"

"This was DEFINITELY a cabin in the woods! It was so peaceful out there; heard nothing but chirping birds, crickets, and frogs. We even saw 3 deer just outside of the cabin one morning! We had our own "welcoming committee," a solid gray cat we referred to as Dorian. The cabin was clean inside, but could have used a sweep or two out on the back patio, but it's in the middle of the woods, we didn't expect anything to be immaculate out there. The inside was very clean. A bit of advice if you rent this cabin - bring jug water to cook and make coffee with. The water from the faucet wasn't good, so it made the coffee taste bad. We had bottled water, so we just made more with that. No biggie. Every thing we needed was in the cabin. Nancy was great! She was very sweet and called me to say we could check in early, so we took full advantage of that; we got there early, put our stuff up, rested a bit, then hit the cute lil town of St. Francisville! We did a little antiquing and there was a Pop and Shop going on, so there was a lot of free food and booze in the stores. We both slept like babies. It was quite, the bed was comfortable, and it was cold in the room as there is a wall unit for the bed room that kept the room nice and cold on a hot humid night. There is also an A/C in the living area that worked well in keeping the room cold. I would highly recommend renting Artist Cabin in the Woods. "

"Hi! I’m a pastors wife to a church that is local(ish) to this property, less than 1 hour away. We had ladies come stay the whole weekend & ladies who came out for the day…. In total 15 women came thru with 13 of us actually staying thru out the multiple nights of our reservation. Each bedroom has a lil bunk room off of it & it’s own bathroom. I wanted to rent something that all my women’s group could get away & relax & just chill out & be completely stress & worry free for a weekend. I am here to say that we 100% accomplished that with Michael’s property! This place has everything you can begin to think of including multiple ways to make coffee! There was a snow ball maker (shaved ice machine) & even a little popcorn maker! That was just on the inside of the home! Outside there is a kitchen that has 2 types of grills & a flat top griddle! It has a table large enough for your entire group to sit down & done together, it has a beautiful outdoor living room seating w/ a large TV outside & ‘shades’ that can be drawn to prevent the sun from beaming down & a cozy fireplace to boot. The extra outdoor amenities include a hot tub, a 4.5’ pool, another fire pit, a small playground, a very loud outdoor speaker, these giant “swamp cooler” fans you can use & even cornhole. Anything you can think of for your comfort, it’s at this property! We had an absolute blast here & can’t wait to reserve it again! I’m telling everyone abt this listing!! "
