"This home is absolutely stunning. We felt as though we stepped in a modern design magazine shoot. The marriage of color, texture, and style perfectly complements the natural surroundings while maintaining a chic, contemporary vibe. The property is breathtaking, with a firepit, sprawling lawn, flowing creek, and fruit and nut trees.We loved being close to hiking in the George Washington and Thomas Jefferson National Forests, plus nearby wineries and breweries. In the evenings we enjoyed board games, cornhole, darts, and grilling under the stars—and best of all, we could bring our two dogs. Maria and Randy’s hospitality was unmatched. We didn’t want to leave this wonderland!"

"Cute little house. The loft was great, for the two younger ladies, (they’re in their 30’s). Being in our 60’s, the main floor bedroom was perfect for us. Our dog is medium size, at 30 lbs, so her kennel fit perfectly in the bedroom closet; which made a cozy little area for her. (We left the left closet door open). Kitchen was adequate size for 4 adults; be aware: stove burners do not turn down to a low setting. Plenty of bowls, plates and utensils. The highlight of our stay was the deck and view! A large area is covered, with a ceiling fan, so may be used in all but the most inclement of weather. We would definitely recommend this Vrbo!"

"Beautiful BRAND NEW lil cabin. Smelling fresh outdoors as good as it smells fresh and inviting inside. Definitely enough room for 2 adults and a couple or few kids. Not far from things, but definitely not a place to just run out for milk or butter, so get everything you need on your grocery trip. There is 100% privacy from anyone and the world back in the woods... with the cutest back yard and the deere grazing unbothered while you sip your coffee. It was PEACE."

"I came into town for the Tyler Childers concert and this was the perfect spot for me and my dog! Quiet, secluded, beautiful scenery — but close enough to town if you need anything. An easy drive to C’ville and surrounding areas. It didn’t disappoint!"

"Everything was as described in listing. Beautiful property both inside and out. My family & I enjoyed the stay. Water was a little cool for us in September but our pup thoroughly enjoyed the river as well. The sound of the running water is very peaceful. The only suggestion I would make is adding a television in the master suite (personal preference) and add a few more towels & wash cloths. Great home. I highly recommend."
