"Getting to Peacehaven was quite an event, the main roads are easy to navigate. The lanes are a different story, narrow with passing places, very constricted by high banks needing a lot of concentration to navigate safely. Wind your door mirrors in unless you want the drivers side damaged by passing traffic on the lanes. Peacehaven once reached gave fabulous views out to Bigbury on Sea, Banntham Bay, Burgh Island and its hotel with the seascape beyond as well as the estuary leading inland. The...

Yes the lanes are truly country - tight, muddy and bumpy but nothing unusual or to put you off. A good location for visiting all the well known towns & coasts and then retreating to the quietness of the cottage. Thoroughly recommend."
