"Die Lage und das Haus sind super ! Die Fotos stimmen genau mit dem überein was man vom Haus zu erwarten hat, es ist liebevoll eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Die Betten sind bequem und alles ist auf Gemütlichkeit ausgerichtet. Wir waren mit 4 Erwachsenen und 3 Kindern dort, Es wurde etwas kuschelig aber alles vollkommen ausreichend. "One of Kongsbergs older properties but maintained and run perfectly with a first class breakfast, welcoming staff and comfortable rooms. Only hiccup was having to pay Expedia and the hotel due to an unresolved booking issue. I’m sure Expedia will refund me. Very good option for Kongsberg and could not be closer to the reliable rail service. "

"The hotel was clean and comfortable with great service. The rooms are a bit small for 4 people but the kids said the sofa bed was comfortable. The food was great for breakfast and dinner but the options did not change the nights we visited. It is within a hour of a lot of local attractions and found out that the Olympic torch was lit at that location twice. The pool and hotel grounds are great for kids. They have sports and a play ground that includes a zip line. They also have electric car connections for a reasonable rate if you need them. Overall a very nice hotel. "

"We arrived here very late so only had a short experience but it was great. The room was very comfy and a decent size and the staff were very helpful. The breakfast was the best we had on our Norway trip. Really varied and tasty with an amazing view of the mountains. We didn't get time to use the spa or other facilities but it was very convenient for heading up to Gaustatoppen."
