Bad experience - beware!

Started with odd requirement to pay additional down payment outside of VRBO in order to check into property. Home has terrible moldy odor that never went away. Upstairs shower pipes not connected correctly and leaked through 2nd and bottom floors so was unable to use it, leaving us with 1 restroom for a wedding party of 8. Odd automatic door closers on every room, marked up walls, many items in disrepair (for example duct tape holding down entryway floors). Parking was terrible, ended up 5 blocks away some nights. All major items not addressed while at property after reporting them. Worst experience ever with a VRBO property.

Fantastic base for a girly weekend!

I booked this house for a weekend in Nottingham with 9 friends for my birthday over Easter. The property looks just like the photos, though more pictures of the other rooms and sofa bed would be helpful.Pros:The house was warm, clean, and well-equipped. The kitchen was fab with a dishwasher, washing machine, and dryer. The living room was cosy with great WiFi and streaming options. The dining room was perfect for our Easter dinner, and free on-street parking was always available for our four cars.The location was convenient for getting around, the beds were comfy, and the master bedroom was spacious with great lighting—perfect for getting ready. The property management team were fantastic and very helpful.Cons (minor):The kitchen lacked a few essentials like enough cutlery, scissors, bin bags, and tea/coffee supplies. Only 3 toilet rolls were provided for 10 people, and there was no hand soap. The first-floor shower was tricky to turn off, and the house had a musty smell on arrival.
