"Ty Marie is a special house in a fantastic location and Francois is a kind,helpful and thoughtful host who guided us through the arrival process (ferry with trolleys for our luggage from the port) and welcomed us to his family's house on this lovely island. "We have stayed in many french gites over the years, but this farmhouse in the grounds of a beautiful chateau is exceptional. The location, close to Malestroit and Ploermel was excellent for shopping and visiting the markets and many larger towns were less than 30 minutes away. I would love to know why this neighborhood even exists, but as a visitor only staying 24 hours in the area it was worth staying here to save the hassle of driving into the city centre at night.
