The fire place was lovely. The garden is massive and well kept. You could just there and enjoy the house and the garden without the need to go anywhere in the summer. The house is very close to some beautiful places as there is a lot to explore in the area. We would love to come back when the weather is nicer. "

"The grounds are amazing - so much space, lots of chairs, great outside dining area and a fantastic pool! The kitchen is small but fully equipped. Beds are comfy (except plastic mattress protectors). For us the room layout was an issue. The two twin beds are actally family rooms with double beds in, not separate as it looks like in the listing photos, which are very misleading. This was frustrating for us as we had to have three children in our room - we had booked here to avoid that happening....

"Our Canadian add UK family met here for a much anticipated reunion. This is a gorgeous property that provided plenty of space for ten adults and six children. The house is lovely with a well stocked kitchen, lots of comfortable sitting areas, and a great patio where we sat outside for meals and evening chats. "A lovely old French house, plenty of space and lots of things for the kids to do, table tennis a complete winner. Rather sad to see most of the curtains hanging off the rails and kitchen doors hanging off. Also if you are looking for a place with comfortable beds and nice bedding and towels this may not be the place for you. Having said that, we had a wonderful time. The area and people were also wonderful."
