"The VRBO was cute. For what we paid, I would’ve liked to see better. The rugs under the bed and couch were very dirty. Multiple spills of random things all over them. We were given one washcloth and one hand towel for a family of four, on a 4 day trip. There wasn’t one towel hanger to hang a towel on, after our showers, in the bathroom. Affordable : good value for money —-The not so good : got the wrong code to get in & it took 30 min to solve with the help of VRBO . Double check the day before you arrive . It says it was renovated but not the bathroom! Windows don’t shut properly: bring earplugs . "This Brownstone was Every and More for Our 4 day stay. It is in walking distance to the historic Apollo, shopping and food! The owner responded immediately when contacted about our only issue, the tub knob came off. Needless to say, I would stay here again!!!"

"We booked a weekend away to celebrate family birthdays and were very happy to celebrate in such a special place. There was plenty of room for 11 of us (+ dog) and was a mix of modern touches and old world charm highlighting the legacy of the house. And the view of the Hudson was a highlight of our stay. Highly recommend!"

"Very comfortable stay with lots of room to spread out. Interesting older house with many unique features. We were happy to learn that they recently installed a new furnace and a dishwasher. Lots of cookware and dishes. We spread out over two dining rooms for mealtime which worked well for us. "

"Upstairs apartment in an older detached house. High ceilings and big rooms lots of character with wooden floors and sash windows. There was everything we needed amd more, lots of thoughtful additions. Toothpaste and brushes, toiletries, slippers, ear plugs and more. The apartment was spotlessly clean. Big comfortable beds, spacious rooms with extra blanket and pillows. Great bathroom and we loved the shower. Area was very quiet. Shops for basics a few minutes walk then 5 to 10 minute walk...

"Alexis was a great host and she was super communicative and easy to reach. The house was clean and prefect size for my group of 6. Most things were stocked but I’d reach out to the host in advance so you can buy anything that isn’t ahead of time. One important thing to note is that the driveway can only fit 2 cars and there isn’t really any street parking. "

The second-floor room was not recently renovated. Its location offered convenient proximity to 30 Rockefeller Plaza, Times Square, and the subway system.
