"Khun Zaw Wan, the front office assistant supervisor is a friendly and helpful staff. He shared lots of stories about Myanmar with us too. We are allowed to have an early check in and late check out at 3pm. There are bicycles for you to ride for free. We had a good stay."

"What a treat to stay here after a two day trek from Kalaw to Inle Lake. The hotel is on the outskirts of the main part of town but it was truly a mini oasis once you entered the grounds. The staff could not have been more helpful or accommodating. This was one of the few places in Myanmar that had a set breakfast instead of a buffet but this was one of the most beautiful breakfast setups during my travels! I can't recommend this hotel enough. If you come to Nyaungshwe, do yourself a favor...

However.. we asked to switch our bungalow room, due to a foul sewer-like smell emanating from the shower area, and we were told quickly and not politely (by the owner, not the staff) that it was not possible because there are many guests that come and go. Reluctantly, we were given a different room, which was clean. "
