"This hotel is not a bad hotel, it's actually quite decent, or would be for an off-brand hotel. Hard to see how it is up to Hyatt Regency standards though. It's old and been worked hard, every day for a long time. So it's fraying and in need of a solid refresh to move it upmarket to merit the brand properly. "This hotel has an old hawaiian charm to it that reminded us of the first time we visited Hawaii many years ago. The decor, the music (we LOVED the music), the drinks at the bar. The staff were all so very friendly and helpful. It made our trip home so much more relaxing being able to take the shuttle. "Stayed in an oceanview king bed with lanai (21st floor): the views are absolutely stunning, the bed and room are lovely, huge TV. The reception team was so helpful with a couple of things including helping me arrange slightly later checkout to accommodate flight layover. Was on the same floor as Coconut Club for breakfast (but one annoying thing is you have to book at least a day early or can’t eat there)"

"Wonderful find on the windward side of Oahu. The views are stunning! Our view from our waterfront cottage lanai was gorgeous every morning. I most definitely recommend staying here instead of the craziness of Waikīkī. "

"I want to give a big shout out to Mervin and Chester at front desk. They were quite pleasant and made our experience positive. Please consider putting full length mirrors in the room otherwise everything else is perfect. We will certainly come back!"
