Guests driving to the property should be aware of seasonal road closures. Hwy 120 (Tioga Pass) closes October through June, restricting east-to-west travel across the park. We booked a room to celebrate our anniversary. We were greeted by a very friendly lady who checked us in and told us that charging our EV was free to their guests. She then explained our three breakfast options of an omelette, eggs cooked to order or biscuits and gravy, each with sides of potatoes and sausages. Milk or orange juice were other choices. The room (#3) was large with a king sized bed and a large jacuzzi tub in the room. The bathroom was also larger than average with a walk in shower that had 2 shower heads. The room was air conditioned and had a coffee maker and a refrigerator. Unfortunately, we arrived late after spending a long day at Yosemite National Park, so we were not able to fully enjoy everything this property had to offer.

Cosy, comfortable and spacious B&B half an hour's drive from Yosemite southern gate - and 90 minutes from Yosemite Village, a much cheaper option than some park accomodation if not camping. Also minutes from Lake Bass and gourmet Elderberry House restaurant. Staff super knowledgeable and helpful with planning Yosemite visits.

We had a wonderful three days at the Hounds Tooth Inn. The facility had a great comfortable, low-key vibe. Tammy and Melinda were friendly and very helpful. And in addition to a great room, the breakfast was tasty, the evening wine tasting was enjoyable, and the location was very close to not only Yosemite, but Bass Lake and the cool Yosemite Jazz Train.

Excellent hospitality in a peaceful setting. I saw wild bunnies while drinking my coffee on the patio. The outside of the inn and the dining area are very cute. Unfortunately, our room had a strong musty smell. This is likely due to the carpeting surrounding the jetted bathtub. The tub and tiles are dated and in need of update.
