"The hotel is in an old historic building with charming architecture and a beautiful patio. Rooms are small but clean and comfortable, no TV or fridge. Walls are very thin so every sound in an adjacent room is heard - including conversations and toilet flushing. There is a free coffee and tea station on the first floor. The breakfast and dinner hours are rather limited, breakfast could be longer - especially on weekends. There is a brunch option on Saturday."

"I live in Alameda and we've had issues with our apartment bathroom twice since we've lived there and needed to rent a room for convenient showering. I like the Coral Reef because it's local, it's close to everything (it's a small Island), and it has a workable kitchen as well. It was PERFECT for what we needed. And the staff is super nice as well, so that's a plus."

"Love the hotel however, our fireplace was not working properly. Had to call maintenance twice and once the maintenance guy turned on, pilot went out. Ambiance was gone just like that. 😌"
