"Wir hatten eine super Zeit im Birentobel. Bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir von Nadja persönlich zum Haus begleitet. Das Haus war bereits vorgewärmt, sodass wir sehr entspannt ankommen konnten. "Bright clean, well equipped, comfortable apartment with parking. Easy access to everything that Laax has to offer. Excellent communication with Dirk (the host). Was a great base for a week of skiing, only a few minutes to the lifts and the bars!"

Great location and hotel

"The hotel has a beautiful bar and wonderful restaurant. The views from the room were spectacular. Our room in the Schloss was huge even though we just got a standard double room. There was even a walk-in closet. The decor was very traditional and the bathroom was big but was done in an old fashion style with a long narrow bath with a shower attachment. More modern decor is in the outer buildings.They have an elevator so accessibility is good in the Schloss except for the restaurant where there are a few steps to go up. The reception desk staff were very friendly and could speak multiple languages. I could converse in English with them. The location is very convenient with free parking. It is a very easy walk over to the thermal baths in the Bad Ragaz resort. Walking to the town center took me about 5 minutes. The breakfast at the hotel which is included was terrific with many options to appeal to different nationalities. The restaurant in the evening was wonderful with an Indian buffet."

Fantastically efficient design and excellent staff

"We stayed here for a night to look around the town. The hotel is well located with an underground ar park and is about 5-10 minutes walk from the old town and lake. Our room was a good size with plenty of power sockets and working USB outlets. It was a no frills room but everything we needed, clean and modern. The shower was excellent and the bed was comfortable. Staff were wonderful and the check in was lovely. There’s also a nice lounge too. Parking was 30CHF for the underground car park but there are cheaper options nearby."
