The cottage itself was stocked well and provided a comfortable spot for cooking, sleeping, and out of the sun activities (board games, cards, puzzles, pool, and ping pong). "My wife and I along with our pup Maggie really enjoyed the tranquil setting of the property. Maggie was able to roam around and explore her surroundings, and be a country dog for a few days. "Such a beautiful place in the redwoods. The road getting there is definitely unevenly paved with big dips - don’t rec low clearance cars. We have a big truck and it was fine. "The place was very relaxing. Hot tub was beautifully located under the redwoods near the creek. Linens were exceptionally scented with hormonal disruptive scented laundry detergent. Bring your own wood for the fireplace, as none is provided. BBQ grill is broken and won’t ignite. "Our visit to Fox Kit Cottage was just what we needed. This home is in a quiet, safe, small neighborhood, just far enough off Highway One to avoid traffic noise, while super convenient to head out.
