Do not stay with Vacasa - very poor experience
This was the absolute worst experience I've had in terms of customer service. When I checked into the house at 6:45pm local time (checkin time was noted as 4pm), the cleaning service was just getting started, and all the beds and kitchen were messy. This was already disappointing, and I messaged Vacasa via text. The person I texted said the photos were "so gross" and agreed that it was totally inappropriate and disappointing. I then spent 6 days trying to get a response from customer service about a potential late checkout, or partial refund, to compensate for the incredibly poor check-in experience. I was gaslit and ignored for 6 days straight -- every time I texted, I heard back that they would "check with the local operations team", but there was never an answer. I was strung along, told that I'd get an answer to my questions, and never got them. I don't have any faith that there was ever a local operations team to fix any issue (mine or anyone else's), nor does Vacasa take customer service seriously in general. Beyond the poor check-in experience and terrible customer service experience, the bikes were uncomfortable, difficult to ride, and rusted, the towels and toilet paper were paper thin, there were two AC remotes missing, and the location of the house itself is on one of the louder streets in Ocean Beach. I will not be returning. Neither this house, nor this management company, was in any way a good experience.

Family week at OB!
Really enjoyed our week at Ocean Beach! Granddaughters up early every morning to look for dolphins in ocean (we did see a pod one morning at 7 am) and scooter up and down the walks. Would love to go back.

House was great, location great but dealing with manager not owner an issue
Since you do not have a direct line to the owner small issues take much longer to get resolved. Some amenities promised were either broken or missing. We were given the wrong code to get in the front door and it took over an hour to get the correct code. 2 a/c's were missing remotes. Took a day to let us know there was a 3rd unit that used the same type of remote and to share it between 3 split units. Garbage was full upon arrival. Not enough cans. No lid on one and neighbor was not pleased. Promised 5 working bikes. basically 3 working, one busted and one nonexistent. One child fell trying to use the one that was not repaired and cut his foot pretty good. Was told they had only 4 chairs so we brought extra. They had probably close to 8 chairs although some were not in the best condition. No true beach towels. They were a ton of "Vacasa" towels which were smaller white towels that were very thin. Typical of a standard towel you use in the shower. I had a family member who came out for a day trip to bring larger towels for us. Once we were settled in the house and location were great. Other times I have stayed out there I always delt direct with the owner and all of these "issues" would be non existent. The owners would answer any questions or give a heads up on any discrepancies on what was listed. Also, this is the 1st house that I have stayed at that had no information book or anything posted on Taking out garbage, house rules etc. Manager said I should look up online!
