The Golden Sands, located in Ocean City, offers everything a vacationer could want without needing to leave the building complex. Enjoy the beach, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis, oceanfront volleyball, and game and exercise rooms! During the summer season, visit the beach bar and grill, sandwich shop, convenience store, and gift shops.

Wake up every single day to the unmistakable sound of the crashing waves at this perfect beach condo! It has everything you and your guests could ever need to spend a carefree and restful vacation. It features a well-equipped kitchen with all the essentials, central air-conditioning, a private balcony with an outdoor dining area overlooking the water, on-site washer/dryer for your laundry needs, comfortable and inviting furniture, and TV with cable.

Things to Know
The building provides complimentary WiFi as a courtesy, but it is not guaranteed.
The indoor pool and large outdoor pool will not accommodate children in diapers. There is an outdoor kiddie pool provided for children in diapers.
Per building management, cannabis is prohibited everywhere on the Golden Sands grounds.
Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

The stay at this location was ok. The reason i didn't give a "5" rating is i feel the building and location could use updates. As far as the unit, it was listed to have a full equipped kitchen, there was very limited items and the ones there have seen better days.

When I arrived, I called. There was a broken glass in the kitchen (just to let them know), NO sheets for pullout couch, only 2 pillowcases for a king bed & the pullout, BLOOD spots on 1 of the available pillows. Was told they would bring sheets - never happened. Unit was basically clean but fine details were not -- return grates need serious dusting, headboard of king bed. Place just needs some attention. Water damage on wall near slider. Black "mold" on ceiling of door near entrance. The couch is not comfortable to sit on.

Extreme long wait time for an elevator/blood stained bed pillow
The condo itself is great with all of the options offered for activities. However, for a 22-story building with four elevators, the wait time can be 5-10 minutes during the weekday. On weekends with folks arriving/departing , we waited 30 minutes for a family of four to be able to gain access to an elevator to leave. Not to mention, no ventilation within the elevator so the heat is incredible. The unit was nice with a wonderful ocean view. However, there are water stains on the living room wall, the bed pillow on the master bed had blood on it (which I first saw through the older/thinning pillow case) and if you are older or handicapped I suggest you not sit on the living sofa as it sinks and is slow low to the floor that it makes getting off of it extremely difficult. The handle to the dryer was broken off causing you to use your fingers to wedge the door open.

Perfect
It was a wonderful property we saw the sunrise out of one sliding glass door over the beach and the sunset out of another window. We were right on the beach. We had a pool table and indoor pool on the rooftop which is nice in the spring. We had a ping-pong table and a very nice gym and sauna. The concierge and Vacasa management were very helpful at all hours. It is a very nice property. The deck looking over the beach was perfect. Lovely.
