Unique beach experience
The Looney Bin was in a beautiful part of the Discovery Coast. It was tranquil, close to the beach, and well stocked with supplies and niceties, all adding up to a lovely stay. The beach is almost like a private one, but there is plenty of action in Long Beach. Cape Disappointment and Oysterville were wonderful places to visit. A very comfortable stay and memorable experience.

Cute little cottage
Was really impressed with Bloomer’s communication and responsiveness! Aside from the rental being pretty tricky to find (street number isn’t marked, google maps inaccurate- bloomer did provide alternative directions but they were a bit unclear), all other logistics were great- door code worked, Wi-Fi was good, instructions were clear. Clean, cozy, plenty of extra linens and blankets. The place was less private than I expected from the pictures but it has a nice big yard. Would definitely stay again :)

Our family had a great time staying at the cabin for the weekend! Well equipped and easy access to the beach. We carried our almost 2 year old along the short stretch of highway to get to the beach access. We appreciated having clam guns and beach toys for our use!

A Special Place

Quaint and quiet
This property was decent although I would not recommend as a family with babies. Many of the walls are unfinished plywood or plywood paneling and I was concerned that my baby would get splinters from crawling near it. The other issue for having kids at this property is that there is no bathtub at all. Otherwise, this was a decent property with several amenities. The beds were comfortable.

Great cabin in perfect location!
Our family of three stayed at The Looney Bin for four nights. With the beach just a few minutes walk from the cabin we got to see some spectacular sunsets! The cabin has a few games and puzzles that our eight year old really enjoyed and the place is very clean and quiet. Perfect for a quiet retreat! I would definitely come and stay again!

Cozy one bedroom/one studio bed vacation rental that made a beach getaway possible during these times. The kitchen is well equipped with common cooking spices, oils and a variety of cooking and baking kitchenware. A fireplace and beach chairs/camp chairs/beach toys was available onsite. Also a variety of magazines, books, puzzles, kids games inside too. Internet was fine, had no issues with that. No direct beach access but it was a 8 minute walk or 5 min drive. Would definitely recommend it for a stressfree vacation or getaway.

Adorable little cabin
This property is great for a little ocean getaway. Very clean and surprisingly well stocked with everything you could possibly need! There is no internet at this location so be aware of that. Otherwise, the home was clean and lovely for a small group of us to enjoy the beach and visit with relatives nearby. Loved the bonfire pit in the back yard as well!
