The place was very clean. Although the a/c in room 110 was very noisy. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay. It was walking distance to a lot of nice restaurants.

The rooms appeared to have been upgraded. The staff were very nice. We can with two cars and unfortunately there was only one car per room. My son had to park his car in the streets. One of the guest checked out early and they came to our room to offer my son the extra parking spot which was very nice. We will definitely be coming back.

Nice hotel - old school beach town hotel-rooms are spacious, free parking, close to beaches and restaurants. Quiet neighborhood location. We had a nice evening. Rooms have refrigerator- they are inside one of the furniture pieces. We accidentally discovered after buying ice for the cooler.

The overall place was okay, very weird that the bathroom and sink to wash up was on the other side of the wall, the floors were dirty, I walked with socks on and my socks turned black, otherwise it was an average place.

Roomy and comfortable. Conveniently located for LegoLand, shopping, dining. Owner/manager was attentive and friendly - particularly expressing concern during a tsunami warning in our home state. Only negative was that feet/socks got darkened from floor. This also happened at our hotel in Chula Vista - making me wonder if this was result of residue from the San Diego fires earlier in the summer.
