"Overall... we were very pleased with our stay. We did not like the shower over the bath, making access difficult. Amenities were great, all appliances also! But, personally I did not like the square basins... difficult to clean , and the dining table was a bit small. But... would recommend due to location and cleanliness and Quiet., and lovely staff. thank you, M. Gleeson"

"Stayed 2 nights in King room, clean, comfortable, good hot water and pressure. Decent size room with kitchen, stove, microwave with basic kitchen wares, tea/coffee/milk provided. The only complaint would be that, the walls and floors are pretty thin. "

"The Black Gold Motel is outstanding! It is clean, well-maintained, the staff are excellent, the service is great! And the best part is the on-site restaurant and bar. I thought it would be just pub food, but oh no, they have taken what could have been pub food and brought it up to a whole new level. The chilli prawn linguini, the calamari with spicy mustard cream, fresh mushroom soup, all magnificent! And the service is outstanding, well done to all their staff! This has to be one of the best...
