"Absurdly thin walls, I could hear people talking under me and the people above me had kids running around at 2am it was so loud, i was there for work but if I was vacationing I would have really been upset. Slept with earplugs in still woke up several times to loud noises "

"The staff was friendly, professional and helpful. The place was clean... small but clean. We didn't like that the sink was in the bedroom and not in the bathroom, but we could see that there was no room for it in the bathroom. It's a big deal when you have to deal with a colostomy appliance. It's one of the only places on Ocracoke that is pet friendly... we were grateful to be able to stay just one night and bring our dog... thank you!"

"The only complaint is that we booked through expedia. We showed up to find the staff decided to leave before the times listed on their site. We had no key, no way to check in and no one would answer either phones. Finally after about an hour and having to leave to catch the last ferry so we weren't stranded on the island with no where to stay, we got a call back.
