"This property had almost everything you need. We were traveling from Oregon so we’re a little unhappy we had to buy sheets, towels just for a two night stay. This has always been provided in any short term rental we have booked, it should be required. Great location and parking. Very close to everything. "

"Unless you have your own plane when you visit ocracoke you want to stay for a while! (It’s my nice way of saying it’s hard to get to) so we were able to spend 5 nights and spread out in this terrific house. The kitchen was spotless and so well equipped (I’d never in a million years use all the kitchen stuff) porches were picturesque. We went everywhere on the golf cart! So great. My husband was actually comfortable in the bed!! Phew! "

"This cottage is truly sweet in all aspects. It is located in an area that is close to the main street but far enough away that it is quiet. The sound location is beautiful, we watched the birds every morning while we drank coffee while sitting on the deck. The interior is very nicely decorated in a slightly retro and sophisticated beach vibe. The furniture and the beds are very comfortable. "The home has the normal wear and tear but is still very nice. Lots of room for a big family or groups. The beach is just over the sand dune, maybe a 2 minute walk. Pool was great. Only issue we had was the bedroom on the third floor had A/C issues and it took a few days before they brought out a portable unit to use in there. Overall it was a great trip and I would recommend staying here"

"Great floor plan and great location. House itself is in pretty rough shape. It needs a good cleaning and some one to come in and fix it up. From missing door handles on the screen to broken toilet paper dispensers it, with some better attention to detail and more cleaning it could be a great place to stay. "The house was very clean, the colors were bright but we loved it. It was big enough for our family. There are a lot of stairs. The beach is very close and if you can’t go to the beach because of weather there is a swimming pool and hot tube just make sure you have bug spay. The only draw back is the houses are so close together. I would definitely go rent this house again"

"The location was great. Just a couple minute walk to a great beach. The house was enough room for a family of 5. It was clean upon arrival, however there was not a single bit of toilet paper in the house. After a long drive, that was an unpleasant find. The house is basic, older and needs a few updates and maintenance. The beds were comfortable, but the couch was not. We felt the only real value to this property is its location."

"We loved the house and location! Hot tub and game room a huge bonus. The property needs some updating (pieces of baseboard and tile missing, deck is old and boards are loose) and a full spring cleaning. A charcoal grill was provided and was awful so a gas grill would be a great upgrade! Overall, we did have a great vacation and loved the location. Just needs some tlc!"
