Welcome to Mountain Haus - our eclectic mountain bungalow with all the thoughtful touches to make a memorable stay! At 600+ square feet this studio packs a punch with open living plus, a full kitchen, and a killer deck nestled among the trees with views! You'll have plenty of space to spread out and relax.
The apartment is close to Snow Basin, Powder Mountain, hiking trails, and downtown Ogden - with Salt Lake City only 30 minutes away.
The Space:
The bungalow is fully loaded with all the comforts and amenities of home, stylishly designed to be your mountain retreat. It features a queen-size memory foam bed, desk for the work-from-homers, couch that folds down to a sleeper sofa, full kitchen, and full bathroom with a washer and dryer. It's a perfect space for a couple or small group looking for a fun, affordable stay!
You'll walk in to a vibrant and open space decked out with stylish wood, popping colors, and chic ski décor to inspire your stay at the foot of the Wasatch Mountains - famous for endless fluffy snow in the winter and mountains lined with vivid wild flowers and unending trails in the summer.
Hill Air Force Base is only short drive! Ask us about a military discount.
Inside the kitchen, you'll find all the silverware, pots, pans and plates you need to cook yourself dinner from scratch! There is a full stove and fridge to make the most of your stay.
The living room is furnished with a huge 65" flat-screen TV where you'll be able to Netflix and chill with family, friends, and/or significant other. The couch also pulls out to a sleeper, with extra blankets and pillows located in the storage space underneath the chaise. The apartment sleeps 3 people comfortably between the queen bed and the sleeper sofa, but a 4th person can fit if you are willing to squeeze.

Or looking to work from home? The house's internet is faster than a downhill skier!
It's a perfect space if you are wanting a great vacation with all the amenities and close to so much, from mountain adventures to a day on the town. The neighborhood is a nice and quiet residential neighborhood close to shopping and dining, and the house sits at the end of a cul-de-sac backed up to nature. The neighbors behind are turkey and deer that you just might spot during your stay ;)
Mountain Haus sits on a shared property with the main house on the other side of the garage and the driveway is shared between the two with plenty of space to park. You will have your own private entry and closed off space, with no shared walls.
Guest Access:
You have access to the entire apartment and the private back deck, with parking on the RIGHT side of the driveway.
The entry way is up the stairway ahead of the driveway where there is a smart lock for self check-in.
The Neighborhood:
The neighborhood is a quiet residential neighborhood and the house sits at the end of a cul-de-sac so it's secluded from neighboring houses. Behind the house is forest with a hiking trail past the back deck. Shopping and dining are close by!

Other Things to Note:
Mountain Haus is an above garage apartment (the most stylish of sorts) and there is a main home that is separate from your space. However, if you want complete privacy, this may not be the best fit. The good news is, you'll probably never see us and there are 3 garage bays in between the house and the apartment.
For your safety and security, guest screening by a third party is a mandatory requirement for all reservations. Guests are also required to sign a rental agreement to make sure that house policies are being observed. Please reach out to us if you need to view the agreement before booking.
We feel transparency is super important and want you to be aware of the space before arriving.
In accordance with updated camera laws, there is a camera installed that covers the exterior of the front door. Thank you for understanding.
