"Breakfast was so so. They ran out of food at 9:35 and when asked if the scrambled eggs and bacon could be replenished, her curt comment was " we don't cook anything after 9:30 am." Then why does breakfast go until 10 am? The next morning we went at 8:30 am and there were scrambled eggs, but they were dry and barely warm."

"As the only place to stay within a decent budget and close to where I needed to be for work, this place was really decent. Everything was pretty clean - I think someone had left a used kleenex on the back of the door that housekeeping maybe forgot or just missed, but otherwise everything else was spotless. I was able to check in a little early also, with no problem. The only thing that was not great wasn't the property's problem. There was construction going on right next to the place that was...

"Host, room, town all good. My only complaint is the hefty VRBO security deposit and there lackadaisical behavior on the return of it. It’s been 14 days since check out and it has not been returned. I have rented through other home rental platforms hundreds of times and not had to deal with this. This will be my one and only time using this platform."

"What an amazing home! It was cozy and had such a calm feel. Everything was crisp and clean; the beds were so comfortable and we slept so great! The owners thought of everything we would need and were easy to communicate with when we had a question. "We had 4 couples that stayed at this home for the Iowa State game. The house accommodated all of us with enough bedrooms and common space for us to sit around and visit. Big sofa and lots of chairs. The house could use some love for sure, but otherwise fit the bill for what we needed. "
