"Property was under construction and completely booked. Staff in the evening was friendly and kept the place looking nice, the morning team was lazy, sitting around looking at their phones while the garbage can was piling over. Not a good breakfast experience. "

Just Extraordinary

"The Gazebo Cottage exceeded all of our expectations. Set back in a quiet, tranquil space; it affords both privacy and silence. The interior design is warm and welcoming. This host understands the importance of special details (the softest towels, and comfiest bed), to make your stay extra special. I cannot recommend this place enough, it is the perfect place to getaway from it all."

"Very nice room below the main house. The room was very clean and smelled great. I recommend getting there before dark because it is in a very rural area and it gets very dark very quick this time of year. The house is on a lagoon with the most beautiful Cypress trees. There is a deck out back to sit and enjoy the water, but the owner mentioned there may be some bugs. The water is part of Lake Blackshear, an 8700 acre lake good for fishing and boating. The area is very much agricultural with the main crops being cotton, beans, peanuts and pecans. It was super quiet and dark - great star gazing. There is no kitchen but there is a small refrigerator and a nice coffee maker. My wife and I had a very nice evening in the area and a great night's sleep. I noticed a boat ramp on the property but I don't know if it was available to use or how deep the water was in the logoon. I'm sure the owner can comment on these thoughts. Overall, my wife and I very much enjoyed our stay and would certainly stay there again. Thank you."
