Large country property in beautiful setting. Enjoy wildlife yet be close to all amenities in Huntington, Barboursville and even Charleston WV . Beautiful in any season. Excellent for Retreats or Reunions, even out of town Wedding guests.

Possibility to add Jenny Lind twin w/trundle to either bedroom ($40 extra per booking).

Far North Farm & Events is approx. 1 mile. This is a wedding venue available for elopement etc. My property would be ideal for pre or post wedding stays. Or, if not a true “elopement,it is a wonderful place for out of town family or friends to stay.
Oars or Ours Kayaks in South Charleston (40 miles) rents Kayaks & SUP Boards for extended days and will deliver.

Beautiful Property
We loved this historical building. The interiors were beautifully redone. It was nice and private as well. We were able to relax and have fun here with no issues. There was plenty to do in a short drive away for fun day trips as well.

Lovely home

Wonderful Gem
The house was wonderful and charming. We ended up calling a group of friends to give them a tour of the house because we were so impressed. The pictures online don’t quite capture how charming and peaceful this property is. My group of friends were all delighted and would be glad to come back as we travel around this area often.

Spacious, quiet, and scenic enough for a writers' retreat for two couples and a dog. The house was welcoming from start to finish with everything we needed including little notes on anything that could be confusing. Will be perfect for a peaceful week away once Frontier figures out Internet load balancing on Sundays.

Good location
Staying at this country house provided a central location for golfing in WV, KY and OH (it is our goal to golf n every state). The home was relaxing and we especially enjoyed happy hour on the front porch each evening. The nightly visits by the deer was a bonus. This homeis also close to Huntington, which we enjoyed exploring and antique shopping!

Stayed for a sporting event at Marshall. About a half hour drive to the arena. House was large and spacious with plenty of sitting areas for our group. Lovely property and we really appreciated the owner opening up her home to us! Would stay again.

Perfect spot in the country.
The house was beautiful with a great table for gaming, porch for morning coffee sitting and plenty of room to spread out. It was a lovely house in a lovely area. We went to Point Pleasant (about 1/2 hour) and went around Barboursville (15 minutes?) junk shopping. Great and relaxing trip!!

Spacious but cozy home.
Sydnee made everything easy. Large property and home but very cozy feeling. Very quiet with direct access to the Ohio River by climbing down the embankment, which is fun! House is very well stocked all the amenities you would need.

Cousins Weekend
What a fantastic location. We enjoyed walking the property and viewing the river below. The inside of the home was exactly what we wanted, in fact, it was hard to leave the place. We felt at home. The kitchen is so well appointed that we were able to prepare most all of our meals there. It was easy to get to downtown Huntington to explore. Sydnee is a wonderful hostess and most gracious when I lost my wallet, she said we could stay an extra hour while we worked with authorities. Lost it downtown. Found it!!
