11月中旬に利用しました。駅またはバスセンターの無料送迎サービスがあって非常に便利でした。湯の坪街通から少し離れていて、その分は静かでリラックスできますが、荷物を転がしながら宿から駅まで歩くのはきつかったと思います。
11月なのにまだ蚊がいました！殺虫剤はありましたが、普通の蚊取り線香みたいなものが欲しかった… 次の朝起きましたら枕に死んでいた蚊が！
家族風呂が時間制限がなくよかったです。が、激熱！あの温度では子どもは絶対入れません。冷水バルブが少し隠れていた場所にあって、水の温度は基本的に客がいじるものではないと感じました。でもあの熱さだと入れる人は本当に少ないと思います。足だけでも、痛くて2、3秒しか入れられなかったです。
平日利用でしたので、あまり他の客の気配がなくてよかったです。
I visited this ryokan in mid-November, on a weekday.
The ryokan offers a free pick-up and drop-off service from the local station and bus center, which is extremely convenient. They are located slightly away from the main tourist street, so it makes for a very quiet, serene stay, but it is about 10-15 minutes walk to the main part of town. Carrying luggage with you that entire way would be rather tiring, especially if you have to dodge other tourists along the way.
There were mosquitoes even in November, and I woke up to the bloody body of a dead mosquito on my pillow in the morning. The staff left bug spray, but I would have preferred having a more traditional mosquito repellent incense to use instead.
The family bath requires no advance reservation, you can just walk in and use it for however long you like it it's open. However, despite being a "family" bath, it is extremely hot... You would definitely not want to put a small child in that bath! There is a cold water valve, but it is hidden and clearly not meant for customers to use.
