"The stay was great. Close to everything if you like walking and enjoying learning as you explore. This was a little family weekend trip and we went to the zoo, harbor had great seafood and our last day was spent at the mission and shopping. They have great breakfast and happy hour. The staff was friendly with the exception of the manager Sunday morning. I kindly asked if we could check out a little later as we needed a few minutes. He sighed and said it’s fine but make it quick. "

"On a recent visit to Santa Barbara, we stayed at this moderately priced hotel and were pleasantly surprised by what a great experience it was. The staff were helpful, friendly, and responsive. The facility and grounds are impeccably kept up and clean. Having free on-site parking was a special treat if you travel often to SB - we usually stay downtown, where there are always parking and valet charges.The location is mostly residential, so quiet, but still close to the center city and all the fun (although maybe not walking distance). A couple of things to be aware of: 1) there is no elevator, so if you have mobility issues, request a first floor room, and 2) there is not regular room housekeeping unless you request it."
