"This is an absolutely stunning property and it was an amazing place to stay at the end of our holiday. We were met at the gate and given a tour of the house and grounds and shown the many amazing antiques and the unique salons. It was a delight to be here, but there are a couple of things to be aware of when planning a stay. Apart from a lovely breakfast, there is no food available. "It was nice to have a pool for the kids. But it is really dark. The staff is really nice and friendly. But for the price the hotel needs to update. It could be set iup to have more inviting public spaces. Sections such as the salon and the pool are very dated. Staff is very friendly and helpful which goes a long way."
