Nice house, good stay
The instructions were clear, the house was nice and clean and had most things we needed. I would say just a couple things could have been better; 1) the electricity in the Master bedroom wasn't working when we got there, I text and emailed immediately, only the property manager got back to me and said we wouldn't have any power in the room until the next day because the owner didn't get someone to come out after business hours... not really ok. We paid for a house with electricity. I would expect a note, an apology/ a concession, something from the owners but we did not hear from them at all. The Gate card situation could be better, maybe have more than 1 if you have more than 1 family staying? We had to drive down to gate late the first night when the last family arrived. If there was a code or another way to get in that would be helpful. There wasn't any firewood available at the house, while a huge stack was pictured in the listing but not a big deal after the first night. Otherwise, the house was perfect for our group and everyone was comfortable. We took the advise from the binder and visited the waterfall in the neighborhood, the kids loved it. Thank you, we would stay again... as long as the electricity was working ;)

Cabin stay
We enjoyed our stay but were unaware of the steep drive to our cabin. The cabin was well appointed . However, a few items need attention. There were missing lightbulbs on back patio, no batteries in any of the remotes, a dirty comforter in the master bedroom and the back patio area table and chairs were filthy. The views were incredible and we enjoyed the property and the waterfall.

Amazing
We had a great time away from everything. The cabin was very quiet and had an amazing view. The only thing that I would recommend would be either a grill or a griddle for outdoor cooking.

90th Birthday weekend
The property was perfect for 4 couples celebrating our mothers 90th birthday. There were very few steps to navigate and plenty of screened in outdoor space for Al fresco dining even with the rain. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking and plenty of linens, blankets for our stay. Our only complaint was there was no lighting on the screened in porch bc overhead lights would not work. I’m hopeful that the manager is taking care of this problem for their next guests! Otherwise, a great rental!

Gateway Getaway Needs Some Work
Accessing the property was a bit challenging due to unclear gate instructions and the need to retrieve a card from a nearby building. This could pose an inconvenience when guests arrive at different times, given the distance from the house to the gate. Additionally, we weren't informed about the need to turn on the water heater breaker in the welcome instructions. The supplies provided for the house, such as dishwasher tablets and dish towels, were limited for a group of 10 staying for three nights. Essentials like soap, shampoo, and conditioner were also missing, requiring a 45-minute round-trip to the nearest store. Lastly, there was a sizable spider in the basement that my son encountered.

Weekend in the Mountains
We stayed with our kids and family friends over the weekend and had a great time. The place met all of our needs, plenty of space, and we loved having meals on the back deck to enjoy the view! Coming from Florida, the drive up to the place was an experience at first - winding narrow road with switchbacks - but loved that the place was secluded and could see for miles. Check-in was easy (received the door code by text and email). Place was very clean, and other than needing to turn on the well pump to get running water (which took a minute to figure out it was just a breaker switch), it was perfect for our families. The littlest kids enjoyed the toys on the deck and I. The basement bedroom. And we all enjoyed the huge selection of board games. Would definitely return next summer.

Wonderful Mountain Getaway
We had a wonderful time at this property. All pictures accurately depict the property. The views are beautiful and the house is furnished nicely. The house was well appointed - anticipating your every need. They even had children’s silverware and plates and bowls appropriate for little kids. They even had toys in the kids bedroom (the room with 2 sets of bunk beds) and an outdoor play kitchen! We even lucked out and got to see some bears!! We really had a great time and are hopeful to rent the property again next year!
