"The dining staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. The price for these facilities was excellent. Only gripe at this dog friendly place is that some of them smelled really bad. The room was really clean and spacious "
"Very reasonably priced property considering the location. Perfectly located right by the seafront. Its wear and tare is showing but for a short stay in Bournemouth, you can’t go wrong with Brooklands Lodge!"
"Great location to beach and city, within walking distance. The rates were affordable for those on a budget but the rooms felt dusty, dirty, in need of a serious clean and a decent mattress. The staff were lovely, accomodating and helpful. "
"Booked at the last minute and was unsure what to expect. Was pleasantly surprised, the room was clean, nice bed and huge bathroom (actually a wetroom). Pub was great too!"
"my family just wanted a cheapish bed for the night. It was how we imagined - as the building is quite old and full of history ! It was clean and had a shower - no towels, but we had our own. AS the building is probably nearly 100 years old it is s quite out dated, but a good experience. Even had the old baskset type lift to go up stairs ! Makes a change from modern. Gives a taste of what life used to be like 60 years or so. No complaints"

"Nice hotel with great facilities. Outdoor pool is warm and sauna / steam rooms were decent. However, I expected more of a view from a 'premium room' (picture attached). Annoyingly, the leisure centre (roof in picture) made an annoying humming throughout the night.
Check-in was probably the fastest I've ever encountered and all staff with the exception of one miserable bar worker were absolutely excellent. Leisure staff were partcularly excellent.
Breakfast was very nice and dining has great views out to sea."

"Really enjoyed our stay here. Beautiful setting overlooking Swanage. Lovely gardens. Spa was a real treat. As with everthing not cheap, the drinks could have been priced more competitively, but most hotels have high bar prices for some reason?"
