"Ideal - spectacular were descriptions I received when I asked family what review to give. We recently stayed at Carter House four days mid-September for a family reunion. Eight adults stayed at the house and 10 local family members visited. Large play area in basement was perfect for the children. Plenty of room and comfortable furniture in spacious great room for adults. Decor added to comfortable atmosphere. We had good weather so first floor deck with outdoor couches and table were used all weekend as was the fire pit at night. Very large lot provided privacy. And the basics were done right. Very clean, Bed linen and pillows were in good shape. Someone said cookware and serving dishes were high quality. I can’t think of a thing to improve what is their."
