"A new hotel - I stayed on the 6th floor which was clearly brand new. The hotel was very clean and a pleasant stay overall. Some teething issues in that some of the appliances were not working (microwave) as they were brand new and not used before, but I am sure these will be ironed out in due course. "Loved the hut, enjoyed our stay. I brought a 3 course meal with me. So no need to eat out! Lovely and cosy. I would have liked a small saucepan to do porrige in morning. We managed with a big one!! I also wasnt good with lighting the gas rings. I would prefer a long lighter . And no hooks for towels when wet out of shower. In bedroom there were a few cobwebs and spiders in nooks and crannies. "A deceptively spacious accommodation which easily slept 9 adults. The kitchen was well stocked with the usual items and smoothly led onto the dining area and garden area. The living room and bedrooms were really tastefully decorated and again, spacious. Would I use this accommodation again? "We were after a short break in the area away from the city life and this was the place. The wildlife is just amazing on your doorstep and the local walks are really good too. It was lovely to sit out in the garden in the evening and hear only the wildlife and watch the birds in there abundance on the feeders. Everything you could need at the cottage is provided. Jan & Nick are close at hand if you ever need anything and are easy to talk too."

"I would highly recommend a stay in this converted Oast. My partner, our dogs and I had a lovely time. Such a nice part of Kent, we didn't want to leave! Amanda's thoughtful touches made it even more special- we had homemade bread, red currant jelly and a cake for my partners birthday along with butter and milk. The oast was clean and tidy and there were some pretty walks around the area."

"The reception team are always warm and welcoming & go out of their way to help and make sure you have a great stay. My single room on the first floor was very clean and comfortable with a side view to the sea which was great. However, although I was not bothered by it, some guests may be disturbed by the noise from the bar’s & restaurant in the street below. The location of the hotel is superb for both the seafront and town centre. I always try to stay here when in Eastbourne. "
