"This is an excellent place to stay in Bol, on a quiet side street in the historic area, a short walk to the waterfront restaurants and shops. There are a few sterile modern “resort” hotels in Bol, but staying with Ivana and Ivan in part of their stone family home is far superior. "The hostess Sandra is exceptional, she is very attentive and makes sure everything is ok. The apartment is very clean but the decor is dated. The issue is location. It is quite a distance from the Old town, so we had to get taxis all the time, which adds to the cost of the holiday. There is nothing in the area as it's residential. The nearby beach is closed so the next beach is not walkable in the heat."
