"The property was in a quiet location but had lovely views of the canal & attached swimming pool. The kitchen was well equipped but a kettle would have been useful for making cups of tea. The facilities were good but the balcony got very hot even at breakfast time so a parasol or some sort of shade would have been great."

"Très belle maison en plein centre ville de Castello d’empories, la maison dispose de toutes les commodités ,cuisine salle de jeux de nombreux couchages très pratiques le propriétaire est très réactif et serviable je recommande cette maison pour un séjour en famille ou entre amis "

"I stayed 4 months during an internship in the area. Renaud was always very responsive during the booking process but also during the stay.The apartment is very clean and modern. Everything is available as described on the website."

"The apartment had a horrid musky damp smell, that permitted throughout the stay. Half the lights and plugs didn't work. There is no air con, and the ceiling fan is weak making the apartment sauna like conditions and extremely uncomfortable. The wardrobes, cupboards and draws were not clean and covered in dust, and needing to be cleaned before unpacking suitcases. No sunbeds around the pool, leaving towels and feet covered in dirt from the grass, and being transferred in to the pool / apartments....

"The stone villa is one of the most unique stays we’ve ever had and may ever have. It’s located in a castle town in the middle of the beautiful country side. The house is large and the pool is nice if it’s hot outside. The only negative is that the bedroom and hallway on the kitchen floor has a strong sewage odor. It was hard to be in that area and this issue should be addressed. "

Der Pool war sehr sauber und das Haus selbst war größtenteils sauber, nur der Fußboden war ziemlich staubig. Wir hatten unseren Saugroboter dabei, sodass wir das Problem schnell beheben konnten. Leider waren nur drei Liegen vorhanden, wovon eine auch noch kaputt war. Aber das waren eigentlich nur Kleinigkeiten, wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen."

The location also can make it a bit difficult to walk bach to hotel as other reviews have noted. It's not that bad and if needed you can stop to catch your breath on one of the walls. It is a very short walk to the shops and restaurants down in the old town area. Everything was well cared for and clean. They have an online restaurant and bar so you don't need to head down again if you want to stay there in the evening. Area seems safe and is residential so no need to worry about being out late at night. Highly recommend this modern friendly hotel!"
