"This was such a cute and quiet place! There were no disruptions, and the property was well-maintained and clean. Everything was in working order and set up well. The cabin was easy to find and had a nice pond and porch. We saw hummingbirds, frogs, butterflies, and other small animals. It was the perfect little getaway for a girls' weekend. Very comfortable bed and all the amenities you could want. Plenty of space for two people and comfortable. Thank you!"

"Came in on a Friday evening - hit a nearby winery for a drink and light dinner. Everything in the cabin was perfect. Very clean and had everything we needed - we cooked breakfast and grilled steaks (did have to bring charcoal but we knew that in advance). The hot tub was amazing - beautiful sunsets and wildlife added the perfect touch! Hosts were very helpful and got back to us immediately when we reached out. Can’t wait to visit again!"

"We stayed 1 night as we were traveling 17 hours and needed to break that long drive up. House was as described. Comfy and relaxing. Very quiet area(which is always a plus). Much better than a tiny little hotel rooom. If we come back this way again, I’ll look for this house again. "

"If you are looking for peace and quiet in wine country this is definitely the place. We stayed for almost a month and explored the area pretty thoroughly. There is a lot within an hours drive to do in Missouri, Kentucky, and Illinois of course. The host is incredible!!!!"

"Once Again, we had the most Fantastic & peaceful stay @ the Red House. It was IMMACULATE & cozy. We enjoyed a much needed peaceful get away & were able to visit friends in the area. This was our longest stay & we’re very grateful for the washer & dryer so I was able to keep up with laundry. Jayna is the HOSTESS WITH THE MOSTEST!!!! We’ll be back. "

"Very good communication with host before and during stay. House was super clean and very cute. There were a lot of kitchen appliances, dishes, cooking pots and pans. Quiet and peaceful, even with Meadery on the property. Our only “complaint” is that the furniture in both upstairs and downstairs living areas was not super comfortable for long term sitting. Otherwise, highly recommended 💕"

"Come prepared. This is a very remote place saved for nature. The cabin is a duplex and the description is misleading. I reserved the non refundable unit before noticing it was a duplex. Both units are listed with a four-person capacity when it's really only for two each. The porch and parking is also shared. The air conditioner/heater is very loud, so it helps to drown out the sound of the neighbors. I had a whole family staying next to me, and they had a "special" adult child who came in and...
