"It was lovely that this holiday park is close to the beach. We stayed in a cabin and the bathroom was nearby which was a plus and has more than one toilet, one of the toilet seats is broken or has come loose and one of the lights kept on flickering. The cabin itself is basic which is ok, it has beds, a sink and some cups, bowls and cutlery and that. The walls are thin so the neighbours movements are easily heard. A dislike was the mattress which was very soft, too soft. "

"My girlfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Purple Hen. I have stayed before with my family and loved it just as much then. Andrea and Rupert are always incredibly welcoming and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable, the lounge was cozy, the shower and kitchen were great. We will definitely be back for years to come."

"We loved our stay at Leona's cute farm cottage. It's a short drive from lovely beaches and Wahi and Katikati towns. The cottage has everything you need and was spotless. We enjoyed the Nespresso machine, watching the sun rise over the sheep paddock and had a lovely BBQ. The space is well kept, peaceful and the dvd selection kept our toddler busy when the weather didnt permit outdoor play. We'll definitely be back!"
