"Zuerst will ich sagen dass die Besitzerin sehr Freundlich und nett war zu uns. Leider ist die Unterkunft nicht sehr sauber und nicht gepflegt. Die Türen könnten nicht richtig geschlossen werden von Innen und von drausen musste man mit Fuss reinhauen das sie zu gehen. Wir hatten die 4-te "Haus" in der Reihe und die war fast 300 m von WC und Dusche entfernt. Horror wenn man in der Nacht aufs Klo gehen muss, und Spinnen haben bereits überall Netzt gespannt. "We enjoyed the appartment. The kitchen has a window in the roof, so it is very bright, what we loved. Only in the case of heavy rain you can hear it. The bed for the parents was good. The second sleeping room is only for one kid. The other one slept in the living room on an foldable sofa. As long as the kids are small enough it works."

"Nice location on the beach. Room was nice, perhaps getting somewhat aged but that was reflected by the price. A bit longer walk in to Makkum itself, but doable and safe. We picked it for the water view and easy access to laundry facilities, right nearby, for the midpoint of our trip."

Remotely controlled hotel without any parking

"This hotel is located in an area where parking on the streets of the town is required and parking machines don't accept foreign (american) cards. There is also an app that can be loaded onto a US based iphone... Team member confirmed that they would refund since I had to find a different hotel but until now I haven't received a refund (one week has passed)"
