"This grand old hotel is in need of a little TLC, but staying there was still a wonderful experience. Everything was clean and in working condition, but older and showing signs of ageing (e.g. some cracked bathroom floor tiles). The room was large. The bathroom was well appointed and large. The walk-in closet area had a small fridge and a safe. They provided bottled drinking every day. The WiFi was good. The rooftop bar was nice, and provided a view of the city. Milan's main attraction - the Duomo - is within 5 min walking distance from the hotel. The M subway station is "around the corner". A taxi to the main station (Milano Centrale) costs about 20 euro, and a subway ride about 2.50 euro per person. The area is a tourist mecca, with a large mall, dozens of restaurants, bars, and tourist attractions within a 1 mile radius."

"I felt like I was transported back to the 80’s, and I loved it! Considering how dated this property is, there is real pride in maintaining it. The rooms were immaculately clean, black out roll shutters were perfect, and the breakfast was top notch. Food in the dining room was decent, though the staff seemed a bit standoffish at first, but warmed up eventually. I’d stay here again."
