Arrive at the hotel and walk between the tall columns at the entrance. Venture inside and download the official app that has a map to help you navigate the extensive indoor gardens. Various waterways meander through the Delta, Magnolia, Cascades and Garden Conservatory areas.
In the Delta section, admire the vista of the water from a bridge to an island. Exotic vegetation decorates the rocky sides of the river. Go on the Delta Riverboat Tour, allowing you to travel around the labyrinth of waterways in about 15 minutes.
In the evening in the Delta Atrium, marvel at the intricacies of the International Waters Fountain Show and Aqua Fountain Show. Choreographed water bursts and lights set to music make every evening memorable.
Among the highlights of the gardens is the Learning Log, which you can crawl through to see its educational nature exhibits. Stroll through the Crystal Gazebo in the Cascades district. Spot some of the resident ducks.
The gardens are great places to visit at any time. The protection from rain makes them popular for weddings.
Choose from burgers, pizza and other favorites in the various restaurants overlooking the water. Beside the restaurants is an array of shops, a frozen yogurt spot and a stylish clock.
Find the Opryland Hotel Gardens on the northern side of the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center. It is in the Sutherland Heights district of northern Donelson, which occupies the northeastern part of Nashville. Drive here and drop off your car in the free parking lot south of the Gaylord Opryland Events Center.
