"I have nothing but gushing reviews for my Makanda Cabin stay. The cabin was easy to navigate to. When I opened the door I found a clean, comfortable, well appointed place, with two good size bedrooms, living room with fireplace, a bathroom stocked with plenty of towels and soap. There was a basket full of treats on the kitchen table. Hangers were in the closets, luggage rack and lots of shelves to organise wedding and hiking clothing. I could truly relax there. "We rented this cabin so we could meet up with our granddaughter (from Nashville area) to do some hiking. It was perfect for us! We were easily able to drive to Giant City for hiking and dinner. We also drove a bit further to hike at Tunnel Hill and Cache River State park. The cabin was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and utensils. Even though there were several cabins around us, we felt like we had plenty of privacy. We'll definitely be staying here...

"This place was perfect for our weekend stay. The cabin was clean and cozy, thought it could be buggy due to the location but not one in sight. We used the pullout couch bed which was good for our needs but the mattress is thin so it was helpful we brought a second comforter to add more cushioning. Also, the host was very attentive and responsive. Place had everything we needed and I would definitely stay again! "

"We booked this cabin for the end of our honeymoon. The cabin was amazing The view was amazing. It was so clean when we went we got there. The host Allison who was awesome too even turned on the hot tub so it was all ready for us when we got there. We're already planning our trip back there next year for our one year anniversary."

"We were in the area for a wedding in Percy. This apartment & downtown location in DuQuion was prefect for us. There was a mix-up on the entry code, but Alexis got back to us quickly and all was well. I would recommend eating at Alongi's Italian Restaurant. It's just a few doors down from the apartment. Food was great and if you're a Cardinal fan, you'll have fun looking at the wall pictures. We highly recommend this VRBO and will book again if we are ever back in this area. "

"This house was perfect for three (or four) couples. The kitchen was extremely well stocked and the house was beautifully decorated. Unfortunately the pool was already closed and it rained the whole weekend. But we still had a great time playing games and watching football. The neighborhood is very quiet. I would definitely recommend this property and look forward to visiting again. "
