"Not so much to look at from the outside. The inside is very clean and tidy. The decor was new and up to date. The room had a very large fridge. The bidding was fresh and clean. There was coffee in the room for those that drink coffee. The staff were very very helpful. I would stay again. "

"Wi-Fi was said to be available. But it was only near the reception that it worked. We had got the impression that there was WiFi in the cabins! There wasn't. It was obvious that the place had closed down for the summer - it was very quiet (nice) and the service-people had gone home (not so nice). Beautiful place in the middle of Swedish nature at its best. "

"We spent 11 days in Kerstin's House and had a fabulous time: the house was absolutely spotless a d well equipped. The kids loved to swim in the lake or to sail out with the boat. The whole scenery is just amazing. Even though the house is located in a very quite area, lively Askersund is within a 15-20 minutes drive very we found everything for our daily live. "A nice modern hotel in a good location. There is no parking, but the station car park is nearby and reasonably priced. Breakfast is really busy. You have to book a time slot. I’d prefer it to have to commit to a time - my primary reason for booking a hotel is the flexibility it offers. On arrival there was a queue of people waiting to check in as the receptionist had gone to run an errand so we had to wait a little."

"our short visit was truly memorable and pleasant. The staff at the desk were helpful,friendly and polite. The hotel serves its purpose however we found the rooms a bit cramped however it did not take the comfort or relaxation away. Very convenient location with supermarket next door ,burger place across the road ,, bus stop across the road. Breakfast was very good and constantly topped up so even if you arrived late you would still find food topped up ..Overall a great experience . "

"For what it is, this is a nice characterful country home stay with strangers. However, it is not what I expected from the description on Expedia. Firstly, from a British perspective, this is not a ‘bed and breakfast’ but a hostel. The booking only includes bed, there is no personal welcome but a text message with access code for the electronic door, and other guests hadn’t received theirs so had to wait a long time for acvess. Breakfast is an additional £7 and consisted of a meagre portion of meat left in the fridge under cellophane, with ‘make your own’ coffee, cook your own eggs and wash your own dishes. Give that there are 5 rooms and up to a dozen people the communal areas got crowded and awkward very quickly. The host was nowhere to be seen until it was time to take payment for the breakfast. In addition, the room is not accurately described. I booked a pair of “double queen bed garden view” but got rooms with twin old creaky single wooden beds pushed together, and a view of a gravel yard with out-buildings and scaffoldings. Half the ‘highlights’ mentioned and photos shown were in a shared common area, somit is nit just the bathroom that is shared. As stated at the start, this not a bad place; but it not at all what was described or expected under the listing’s heading, and customers should be better informed about what to expect and what they are actually booking "
